A classic combination, simple, quick and healthy. Potatoes and nutrient-rich spinach are slow-cooked to perfection. Enjoy it for your main course or serve it with rice or naann. I deseeded the chilies to ensure its not very spicy.
Enjoy it hot.

Ingredients: 1 onion thinly sliced 4 cloves of garlic – smashed 3 tomatoes -diced 1 tsp crushed red pepper 1 tsp turmeric powder salt to taste 3 bunch spinach – washed and chopped 4 potatoes chopped into small cubes ( soak in water) 1/2 cup water 1 tsp. Reno Wedding & Long Beach Reception – 2015

We only dated for 4 months before we got married. Since we both suffered personal tragedies that year and followed different religions, we decided on a quiet Reno wedding followed by a reception a month later. Chris called my family in Pakistan to ask their permission to marry me and he spoke to his close family about…

Tomato chutney is my favorite go to comfort food and I usually make it with lentil rice. Its can be made spicy ( which is the version I love) or you could add a little tomato paste to reduce the tartness. Whenever we have guests over for Indian dinner, Chris would request me to cook tomato chutney regardless of what other dishes I cook 🙂

Serves: 2-4 Ingredients: 6-8 large tomatoes – chopped 1-2 green chilies – split in the middle 1/2 tsp ginger paste 1/2 tsp garlic paste 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp turmeric powder a few mint leaves salt to taste for tempering: 3-4 dry red chilies 1 tbsp cumin seeds 1 tsp mustard seeds 1/2…

Portable Induction Cooker Review

This Christmas we received a Portable Induction Cooker from Chris’s stepson.  I had heard about these stoves from a friend of mine in London who had recently installed these in her newly renovated kitchen. Unfortunately she is not a cook and had no idea why these were installed – all she said to me was these…
